Botox is one of the most often performed anti-aging procedures in Korea. It is one of the most effective wrinkle treatments currently available. Botox can be used
in several different areas of the face. The doctor injects the ingredient using a fine needle and the botox relaxes the muscles in areas that have fine lines or wrinkles.
The main areas that Botox can be used are 1) the forehead, 2) the frown area in between your eyebrows, 3) the crow's feet around your eyes, and 4) chin wrinkles.
A small amount of 'botulinum toxin', which is the actual scientific name of botox, is used to numb the muscle. This will make your wrinkles much less visible or
sometimes even makes them temporarily disappear. Botox is one of the most effective and well-researched treatments against wrinkles, together with filler.
Full results of botox are visible 1 or 2 weeks after the procedure. About one month after the procedure is when botox works the best and it usually lasts about
3-6 months.
To maintain the great results that botox delivers, we recommend repeating botox every 3 to 4 months to maintain the effect. The effect of botox might last a little bit
longer when it is combined with other procedures, such as laser procedures or lifting procedures. However, by itself, it already works very well as well.
