Main Purpose
ND-Yag laser is used for a wide variety of skin treatments: tattoo removal, aging spot removal, melasma removal, and even the removal of other pigmentation on your
skin. The doctor uses a different intensity for pigmentation spots than for tattoo removal.
ND-Yag laser can produce two different types of wavelengths if used in the Q-Switch mode. One is in the infrared range (1064 nm) while the second wavelength
equals 532 nm, the latter being better to treat superficial skin lesions.
