Overview
Tummy Tuck Surgery is the best solution if you experience sagging skin and fat around the abdominal and waist area.
If a liposuction is performed on a patient with loose or aging skin, the skin could become more loose and sagging.
In this case, the tummy tuck can tighten the abdominal area while removing excess skin and fat.
Tummy tuck not only helps to improve loose skin and muscles around the abdominal area, but also helps to improve stretch marks,
C-section stretch marks, and aging skin.
Mini Tummy Tuck
The Mini Tummy Tuck covers the center area below the belly button and is the perfect surgery for patients who want a smaller area covered with a shorter
recovery time.
Extended Tummy Tuck
The Extended Tummy Tuck covers the entire area below and up until the belly button, including the pelvic area. This is the perfect surgery for patients
who have a lot of sagging skin and fat and would like the whole area to be covered. The recovery time is slightly longer than when only the mini tummy tuck is done.

Recovery time
1-2 weeks
You will experience bruising and swelling for the first couple of days and the abdominal area might feel sore and tight. You have to wear the compression garment
around the abdominal area for the first month. Your abdominal swelling and bruising will peak at around 3 or 4 days post-surgery. However, you are able to move and
take small walks outside starting from the day after your surgery. Your stitches will be removed 2 weeks post-surgery.

Most bruising and swelling will have gone down quite a lot and you can start seeing the final result of your tummy tuck. Tenderness will disappear and most bruising
and swelling will have disappeared. You still need to wear your compression garment. After 1 month, you can slowly drink alcohol, visit a sauna/spa and do most
activities without restriction.
2-6 months
After a couple of months, the final result of your surgery can be seen. The abdominal area will look lifted and tighter than before and you will look younger overall.
From 2 months post-surgery, you can go back to any activities that you used to do before your surgery.
