Overview
Mammoplasty, or breast augmentation surgery, is a procedure during which you can drastically increase your breast size. There are two methods through which the doctor can improve your breast area. The first one is by inserting implants in the breast area, and the second one is by performing a fat transfer to the breast area. This way, the volume, size and shape of the breast area will be greatly improved.
Breast augmentation can also help in case that both breasts have different sizes or shapes, causing asymmetry. In this case, the doctor can match both breasts to each other.

Types of Breast Implants :
Saline-filled Breast Implants
these implants are filled with sterile salt water. Saline-filled implants are very safe, because in case that the implant shell starts leaking, the shell will collapse
and the saline will be absorbed and naturally expelled by the body.
Silicone-filled Breast Implants
these implants are filled with silicone gel. The gel feels a bit more like natural breast tissue compared to the saline-filled breast implants. If the implant leaks,
the gel may remain within the implant shell, or may escape into the breast implant pocket. If you choose silicone-filled implants, it is recommended to regularly check
with your doctor whether the implants are functioning correctly.
Structured Silicone-filled Breast Implants
these implants are filled with sterile salt water, and contain an inner structure which makes the implant feel more natural.
Gummy Bear Implants
These implants, which are officially called form-stable implants, are sometimes referred to as gummy bear breast implants because they maintain their shape even
when the implant shell is broken. The consistency of the silicone gel inside the implant is thicker than traditional silicone gel implants. These implants also feel firmer
than traditional implants.
